Bearing Buddy to Fit 2.5 inch Hub Bore of Lippert 5,200 lb Axle

Question:
I have a 10k dump trailer with tandem 5,200 lippert axles. I would like to install bearing buddies. First is this possible/smart, and secondly, the manual says that this lippert hub has a 2.5 in OD dust cap. Does Bearing Buddy make a 2.5 OD? Thanks!

Bearing Buddy does make a 2.52 inch option which is part # BB2562SS. These are a great option to make greasing the hubs easier, but you have to be careful not to pump too much grease in the hub as it can blow a seal pretty easily. In a majority of cases where we see someone blow a hub seal quickly after replacing it they used a Bearing Buddy to put too much grease in the hub.
