Crossbar Spread Requirements to Mount the SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box

Question:
I wanted to know what the distance was between mounting points the brackets are on the SR7018 Vista Sport rack. The cross rails on the rack on the roof my vehicle adust somewhat front to back but I want to make sure the attachment points fall within the available adjustment range. Can you tell me the distance the rails would have to be set to to match the attachment points or if they are adjustable on the SR7018 please?

I spoke with my contact at SportRack about the Vista XL Cargo Box, # SR7018. He stated that the box will mount to crossbars that are 25-7/8", 27-7/8", or 29-7/8" apart on center.
Always be sure to check your vehicle owners manual to determine the weight carrying capacity of your roof.
