2017 VW Sportwagen S 4Motion should be the same as application for VW AllTrack. Draw Tite hitch part # 24949 - Do you have installation instructions/steps for me to review prior to purchase?

Trailer hitch # 24949 is a fit for the 2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack. It also is listed for all models of the 2017 Golf Sportwagen. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you.

If you plan on doing some towing the recommended ball mount is # 3590. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19257 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258. And for trailer wiring you can use # 118730 to add a 4-Way flat to the rear of the vehicle.

If you want to use the hitch for an accessory such as a bike rack or cargo carrier then you have to make sure the accessory is rated for use with a Class I trailer hitch. Also, with a bike rack, you are limited to 2 bikes maximum on a Class I hitch. I have linked the Class I compatible 2-bike racks and cargo carriers for you.
