Thule Replacement Hinges For Force XL Roof Cargo Box And Rack Strap

Question:

Thank you! You are absolutely correct on the cargo one, I'll order that one. As for the bike rack strap - I wasn't clear. It's a separate system, a tow bicycle rack. I have attached the pic here of what it looks like. Do you know which one this would be, and I'll order both at the same time? It's on the bottom right of the pic - the black plastic with gray on it, strap for the bike rack.

The Replacement Lid Lifter Hinge for Thule Cargo Boxes, # TH14936, is what you need for your Thule Force XL box. The strap you are most likely looking for is the Replacement Tie-Down Strap for Thule Roof Mounted Cargo Boxes, # 10169.

If you are looking for a locking strap, you will want the Thule Multipurpose Locking Straps with Rubber Housings - 13' Long - Qty 2, # TH831. These are great for locking gear to your roof. These locks use the One-Key lock cylinders and 2 cylinders are included.

If you are looking for something else, let me know and I'd be happy to help.

I sent your picture on to my contact at Thule and was told that cradle is no longer available, but easily replaced by the T3 system. We will want to use the Replacement T3 Cradle Body for Thule Bike Carriers, # 853-5829, along with the Replacement Rubber Strap for Thule T3 Bike Carrier Cradles, # 753-3535. This will fit your carrier and get it back to fully operational.
