Yoke Style Coupler Replacement for 2-5/16 Inch Hitch Ball Compatibilty

Question:

Hello, I recently bought this utility trailer and the yoke style coupler doesnt seem to lock when its on the hitch. Is there a repair kit or do I need to buy a new coupler? It fits a 2 5/16 ball. You can see from the picture that the latch doesnt match up with the holes to hold it in place. Thank you in advance for your help.

Unfortunately we don't have a repair kit at this time. If you choose to replace the entire coupler, I recommend the Bulldog Collar-Lok Coupler w/ Low-Profile Latch - 2-5/16" Ball - A-Frame - 12,500 lbs # BD028499. For a bolt on option, you may be interested in the Bulldog Heavy-Duty Cast Head Coupler w/ Wedge Latch - 2-5/16" Ball - A-Frame - 15,000 lbs, # BD44150WH301, that has the wedge latch.
