Installing Trailer Wiring Harness On 2000 Toyota Tundra

Question:

C55367 Instructions only show one option which does not exist on my vehicle. Do you have detailed instructions for the other so-called connection sites? Thanks

The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # C55367 is designed to fit the 2000 Toyota Tundra.

The connector the harness attaches to is located behind the rear bumper. I have attached a photo that shows where the vehicle plug is located. In the kit there will be a yellow wire with a fuse holder on it. On one end there will be a connector that gets plugged into the power wire connector on the driver side in the engine compartment. The other end has a ring terminal that attaches to the positive battery post. We have not installed this harness on a Tundra like yours so we do not have photos of the connector under the hood.

Another option is to use the Hopkins Plug-N-Tow wire harness, part # 43365.
