Question:

I know I will need a third rack to accommodate short and long ladders. Can you buy a third rack or do you have to buy a another full set of two?

The Rack'em Fitz-All Enclosed Trailer Ladder Rack is an easy to mount, fully adjustable system for your enclosed trailer. It has a 400 lb capacity, but you will want to research your trailer's capacity for a system like this and go with the lesser weight as your maximum loading weight. The rack's telescoping crossbars set it apart as a very easy to install rack that I easily recommend for your application. For use with shorter and longer ladders, I recommend getting two sets to give yourself options and more tie down points.

I reached out to my contact at Rack'em regarding your question. They told me that the Rack'em Fitz-All Enclosed Trailer Ladder Rack, # RA-28, is only available in sets.
