Can the skid plate be removed with the front hitch installed?

If you look at the installation video of the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 31180, you can see how the hitch will be in the way of removing the skid plate on your 2000 Toyota Tundra. In order to get the skid plate off you will need to remove the hitch as well.
When you remove it a hitch it is always recommended to replace the hardware, part # RHK
