Recommended Hand Winch That Will Not Free Wheel When Not Cranking

I will be using a hand winch to lift the body off the frame on my 69 corvette. The body weights approximately 800 - 900 lbs. Im assuming this winch should do the job? My main question does this winch have an automatic brake, for example if you are turning the arm to lift and let go of the arm will the arm unwind or hold?

The Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch with TUFFPLATE Finish # DL15440 does have a reversible ratchet, however without engaging it the winch is allowed to free wheel.

Another option is the Dutton-Lainson Worm Gear Hand Winch # DL11001. This winch will automatically stop the reel whenever you stop cranking. Its capacity isn't as high, at 2,000 pounds, however it is still plenty to lift the body of your Vette.
