Updated 11/16/2016 | Published 11/15/2016 >
Question:
My trailer identification light red, rear, center does not work and I need to replace it. The original light is mounted to the frame with rivets. What is the best way to remove this light and then reattach the replacement light~? Drill~? Prybar~? I assume the answer is carefully and replace with screws and lock washers. Thanks,

The way to remove a riveted item on yoru trailer is by using a drill.
You want to use a drill bit that is smaller than the head of the rivet. This will remove the body of the rivet and then you can just easily pop the head of the rivet out without expanding the hole.
I have attached a link to the trailer lights we offer. If you have any questions about a specific replacement just let me know.
