Question:

I have a 2017 Ram 3500 and need a fifth wheel hitch. my truck has the tow prep and I have 8-foot bed. Would like something that lets me use the truck bed when I am not towing my fifth wheel. thanks

The fifth wheel hitch I recommend for your 2017 Ram is the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch, part # BWRVK3600. This hitch fits right in the pucks in the bed of your truck and when you are not towing you can remove the hitch for total bed access. The hitch has a 25,000-lb capacity and features 1-inch thick dual jaws that give you a 360-degree hitch jaw to king pin contact.

If you have a hoist handy you can use part # DM6100 to keep from having to manually lift the hitch when installing or removing the hitch.

If you need an in-bed wiring harness for your trailer I recommend part # 41157.
