The most important thing to consider in choosing a weight distribution system is your total tongue weight. This will include the trailer tongue weight which is usually 10-15% of the total weight of the trailer, and any cargo weight behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle. This system will require a hitch ball like # C40086. This system uses tension in the head at the spring bars as the sway control and avoids the noisy friction sway control used by most systems.
