Question:
Do you guys sell just replacement brake shoes for the pre 2009 4400#axle? Whats the difference between the 3500# shoes and the 4400# shoes? Is it just the friction material?

I was able to determine that the old style D44 axle brake assemblies such as # 23-454 use the same shoes as the new versions. For one wheel you will need # BP04-095. the shoes for 3500 pound axles have a bit of a different design.
