Question:
I have a vintage 1982 Avion triple axle travel trailer. Each wheel is secured with 6 lug BOLTS. I want to install lug studs that will be appropriate for my trailer. The axle is a 3500# Dexter axle. The hub bolt pattern is 6 X 5.5. I believe the lug bolts are 1/2 - 20 bolts. Is the 25-53 stud appropriate for the job?

I have a solution for you, but you would not be able to thread in wheel studs to your hub that uses lug bolts.
Instead you would need to replace the hub with one that has studs mounted in them. For that we have the part # AKIHUB-655-35-K for an idler hub or part # AKHD-655-35-EZ-K for a hub drum. Both of these will fit your Dexter 3,500 lb axle and have the correct 6 lug bolt pattern.
