A bike rack can be installed on the Draw-Tite Class I 1-1/4 Inch Hitch # C11202 on your 2009 Nissan Cube, but you will have to be sure that the bike rack is made to fit a Class I hitch. Because of the lower tongue weight capacity of 200 lbs. on a Class I hitch you will also be limited to only 2 bikes on the bike rack. Some of the Class I compatible bike racks are listed as 3 bike and 4 bike racks, but if you look at the description of the bike rack it will say limited to 2 bikes only on a Class I 1-1/4 inch hitch.

The Curt # C11202 hitch has a tongue weight capacity of 200 lbs. When installing a hitch bike rack on this hitch you will need to add the weight of the hitch bike rack to the weight of your bikes and be sure to stay under the 200 lbs. tongue weight capacity. You will also need to use a stabilizer strap like # 18050 anytime you are using a bike rack or cargo carrier with the curt hitch to preserve the warranty of the hitch.

For a Class I 1-1/4 inch hitch bike racks I would recommend are the Swagman Trailhead 2 Bike Carrier # S63360 and the Curt # C18085.

The Swagman bike rack is a frame mount rack that weighs 30 lbs. and has a weight capacity of 100 lbs.

The Curt bike rack is also a frame mount rack that weighs46 lbs. and has a weight capacity of 90 lbs.
