Can this hitches be installed in a 2016 F250 short bed 6 3/4 and if so what is the model number of the SL that will be needed. Does it matter if it is flat compared to the other models that are taller. I like the flat version if it can be used without problems

To install the 21K Demco Hijacker SL Series Flat Deck 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # DM6076SL-FLAT in your 2016 F-250 short-bed (without factory rail kit) you will use the Demco installation kit # DM8553000-12. This no-drill kit includes base rails, brackets and all required hardware. The written instructions are linked for you. You can use this hitch as long as it's height allows your hitched trailer to remain level. For a 21K hitch with adjustable height use instead # DM6076SL-21K.
For a 5th wheel wiring harness for the truck bed you can use part # DM8555002 which is an easy plug-n-play installation at your truck's existing bumper-mounted 7-way.
