The Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # DM8550034 can only use a lube plate that is a maximum of 3/16 inches thick so you can use the # RP83004 that is 12 inches diameter and 1/8 inch thick or the Curt 10 Inch # 16721 that is 3/16 inch thick. I recommend using the Reese # RP83004 as it is wider for more pin box contact and yet thinner to allow the capture plates to more easily engage. Standard pin boxes measure between 12 and 14 inches wide.

The lube plate will help with connection and disconnection only as the head has capture plates that will secure the pin box to the head so the head will rotate with the trailer to give you the correct amount of turning clearance as the hitch slides.

The lube plate is not compatible with pin boxes that require a locking plate.
