We offer a number of trailer hitches and many bike racks for your 2014 Subaru XV Crosstreck.
For a trailer hitch, I recommend the Draw-Tite Sportframe Class I Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT24959 for your vehicle. I recommend this htich because the Curt Hitches for your vehicle require stabilizing straps # 18050. This hitch is made form corrosion-resistant steel and has a black powder coat finish which covers an e-coat base for superior rust protection. This hitch easily bolts onto your vehicle and no welding or drilling is required for installation.
For a bike rack, I recommend the Thule Camber Bike Rack # TH9058. This rack will fit in the Draw-Tite hitch I recommended. You are limited to carrying only two bikes with a Class I hitch which is why I recommended a 2 Bike Rack. This rack can tilt down away from your vehicle for easy access to the trunk. It also folds down for clearance when the rack is installed on your hitch but is not in use.
If you are carrying any women's children's or alternative framed bikes without the top horizontal cross tube, you may want to consider a bike adapter bar similar to # 64005 to make loading bikes easier.
