Question:

I am looking for a waterproof/resistant mount for an Anderson SB50 connector. I am using it to connector power to my boat winch when in use. I dont want it to hang off of the bumper because Im concerned that it might short of it comes in contact with the water during a launch or retrieval. Not sure if thats possible but didnt want to test it. Ive seen some products but either the company is out of business or overseas. Any ideas?

We do offer quick-connect winch wiring kits like # DL24085 and # DL24086 from Dutton-Lainson which are intended for specific winch products (based on their power requirements). Although we do not have a water-proof mount for these (or the Anderson SB50) we do offer a no drill bracket # C57202 which you could use as a mounting point for one of the connectors. These connectors have holes in them to allow for either securing one half of the connector to a trailer surface (the mounting bracket I referenced above) or for securing the two joined connector halves together.
