Is there an adaptor for use with a military style hitch?

It sounds like your military trailer uses a pintle style coupler such as # C48200. Trailer Valet does not offer an adapter for using this type of trailer with their XL Trailer Dolly # TVXL25. The main reason is that military surplus trailers will tend to have much higher tongue weight (TW) than typical agricultural or recreational trailers. This is simply a result of their very strong heavy-duty construction.
The XL Trailer Dolly is rated for up to 1000-lbs of TW. Your trailer could easily exceed this.
You may be able to change the coupler on the trailer to match the 2-5/16-inch ball included with the XL Trailer Dolly. For instance, if your trailer has a channel-style coupler mount you could install Pro Series Adjustable-Channel Coupler # PSA256S0303 which fits a 2-5/16-inch ball.
