I have a 2014 Acura MDX Base AWD. Will 7533998 fit the crossbars? Also, Im looking into getting a kayak rack as well - possibly the Thule Stacker 830. Will that fit the crossbars or will I need to get adapters? If I need adapters, would the universal ski rack adapter work on the 830? Thank you!

The Thule Mounting Kit for Thule Flat Top Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Racks # 7533998 will fit crossbars no wider than 3-3/4 inches. You can take a quick measurement of the factory roof rack on your 2014 Acura MDX to ensure that the width of the crossbars is less than 3-3/4 inches. If it is, the Mounting Kit # 7533998 will work well on your roof rack. This kit is designed for Thule Flat Top rooftop ski and snowboard racks TH724 and TH725.
The Stacker # TH830 will fit well on the factory rack on your MDX. I confirmed with Thule that this kayak carrier is a fit for your vehicle and no adapters are needed. The Stacker comes with the tie-down straps needed to secure 1 kayak. If you plan on carrying more than 1 kayak, you will want additional bow and stern tie-downs # TH855XT and load straps # TH521.
