Question:

Assuming the bottom component is not metal and/or threaded, I will need a nut for the screws you provide in the kit. If am right what are my options? Again, I lost all the hardware related to the ski rack and hence the need to replace everything I am missing.

The Replacement Mounting Brackets and Hardware for Thule Pull Top Slide-Out Ski and Snowboard Carrier # TH753277902 will work if the holes are 4 inches apart on center.

Barrecrafter is a brand I can't confirm compatibility with however I would use the Mounting Kit for Thule Flat Top Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Racks # 7533998. From your photo I believe this will require drilling out a rivet and utilizing a tap or screw and nut if you choose to replace the upper mount but the bottom is what is threaded to match the screws.
