Question:
What is the thickness of the steel used? Can H-248 come with all six hangers the 3.25inch 28-5 style, or do I need to order six #28-5 to get them all the same size? Thanks,

Expert Reply:
The thickness of the steel of the Hanger part # 28-5 is 3/16 of an inch thick.
The only way to get 6 of these exact hangers is to order a quantity of 6 of them. The # H248 comes with a set of taller center hangers.
Center hangers are taller because of the shackle straps that hold the springs to the equalizer call for the center hanger to be taller so that the spring ends up sitting level. I attached a picture that hopefully let's you visualize that.
