A ST175/80-13 size tire is the correct replacement size for your existing B78-13 size tire. We offer a number of tire and wheel combos, like # TA43RR, as well as tire only options, like # TTWTD17513C, in this tire size.
For your 2,500 pound capacity, you can go with either a Load Range C or Load Range D tire. The Load Range C tires will each offer 1,360 pounds capacity at 50 psi, so 2 tires will provide 2,720 pounds capacity. Load Range D tires offer 1,610 pounds at 65 psi each, with 3,220 pounds capacity for 2 tires. Since the Load Range C tires are closer to yet exceed your 2,500 pound capacity, I recommend going with Load Range C tires because they will provide the best ride quality for the trailer.
For a ST175/80D13 tire and wheel combo, I recommend the Taskmaster ST175/80D13 Bias Trailer Tire with 13 Inch White Spoke Wheel, 5 on 4-1/2, Load Range C # TTWA13BWM. This tire and wheel combo will work well for your spare tire. It features the 1,360 pound max load capacity at 50 psi, has a 5 on 4-1/2 inch wheel bolt pattern, and the bias tire is great for off-road use. I've attached a review video of this combo for you.
For a tire only, I recommend the Taskmaster ST175/80D13 Bias Trailer Tire, Load Range C # TTWTD17513C. This tire has the Load Range C capacity that will work great for your trailer. Again, the bias tire will work well for your Wood-Mizer sawmill in off-road environments to provide a smoother ride on uneven surfaces.
You can find all of our ST175/80D13 size tires at the product page I have linked for you. I have also attached a help article on frequently asked questions about trailer tires.
If you need a spare tire carrier, our most popular version is the Fulton Hi-Mount Spare Tire Carrier # FSTC1000301. This carrier camps around trailer tongues up to 3 inches x 4 inches and will work well with the 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern of the # TTWA13BWS tire.
