Question:
I have a weight distribution assembly I am using at the moment,,,its set for 750 lbs TW, I use this on my 16 open car trailer. I just purchased a 8.5 X 24 enclosed car hauler which has a bit more tongue weight to it when loaded. I do not want to buy a whole new W/D assembly if I can get the heavier trunnion bars. Is there any way I can just purchase the 1200lb trunnion bars for my system,, Thank you for any help........

If you have a newer Reese weight distribution system like the Reese Strait-Line Weight Distribution, # RP66074, with the trunnion spring bars and the integrated cam ends then you will be able to install the heavier spring bars.
The heavier spring bars would be the Reese Trunnion Style Weight Distribution Spring Bar, # RP66009. The bars are sold individually, so you would need to order two of them. These spring bars have a 1,200 lbs. capacity.
If your weight distribution system is different than the Reese, Hidden Hitch or Draw-Tite system, then I would not recommend to interchange parts between manufacturers. The manufacturer will build their parts to only work correctly with their own weight distribution systems.
