Hub Replacement Recommendation for 1990 Shorelandr Boat Trailer B148/1610
Published 03/04/2016 >
Question:
I need to replace hubs/bearings/seals on both sides of my older 1990 shorelandr B148/1610 trailer and am having a hard time finding which hub kit would be the best fit. Per shorelandrs website, the inner race and bearing area are 1 1/16inch and takes a L44649 bearing, I also have a 5 lug bolt pattern. 5 on 4 1/2 I believe, I also have a straight spindle axle. It appears there are several options to choose from - and this is where I get confused - they they all fit the same? Thank you in advance!

I can help you pick out a hub for your trailer. Thank you for giving me the bearing, spindle, and bolt pattern information. That is exactly what I need to find the right hub.
For a hub that will fit your spindle that comes with the bearings already installed in the hub and with it pre-greased and ready to go I would recommend the CE Smith Hub part # CE13311. Since this comes with a carrying case this also works great as a spare hub to bring with you in case of a problem while towing.
