Question:
Question about BlueOx Swaypro. Hello, I was looking for a solution for my truck and trailer set up. My trailer has a tongue weight of 600 lbs and need 18.5inch to the top of the ball. The center of my hitch is 21.5. So I would need my unloaded ball height to be between 19.5inch and 20.5. So I would think I need a of 1-2. If I use the BXW4002 or BXW4003 I would only get a of 0.78inch if I get the BXW4004 I get the that I need but the reciever would extend ~14.5 inches below the center line of the hitch. If I include the for loading this is going to be 5-6inch off the ground. Does Curt or someone else sell a reciever that would get me a 2inch 10.22inch below centerline that may buy me a couple inches of clearance? Summary - BXW4002 too short, BXW4004 too long. Is there another vendor that would give me someting in the middle that would still work with the swaypro? Thanks

You can use a weight distribution shank from another manufacturer with your Blue Ox Sway Pro system if necessary to provide the correct coupling height and sufficient ground clearance. Based on your measurements it appears you actually need about 6-inches of drop in the shank. (We do our measurements a bit differently).
Reese shank # RP3215 provides up to 5-3/4-inches of drop with trunnion bars. Dimensions of this item are shown in the linked photo.

Hi, I have a 2018 Prime Time Avenger 27dbs that I pull with a 2012 Ford expedition and a Blu Ox swayPro weight distribution hitch. This year I bought a 2019 Ford F350 DRW long bed. I have a 3 inch receiver on the 350. The top of the receiver is about 2 inches higher than the expedition 2 inch reciever. When I hook the trailer to the expedition there is also some squat. I'm looking for a recomendation for a new shank for my f 350 to maintain proper height. Do you think the 9 hole shank by blue ox will give me enough drop? I don't expect much squat from the F350. I know they make an eleven hole shank but I dont think you guys carry it. Thanks in advance.
