Which Chain Link When Using Blue Ox SwayPro
Published 03/26/2024 >
Question:
How do you determine the correct chain link when using the BXW2000? I have a 2024 XLR Hyperlite 3517 toy hauler TW 1785 / GVWR 11985 and the WD I used on my last camper did not use chains. This camper is much heavier and I am having to upgrade my WD system.

Hi Mark; that's a good question and what you'll do initially during set up is use the 9th chain link of the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control # BXW2000.
If you're perfectly level that's great! Otherwise you can adjust the chain links one at a time based on how your truck is oriented. If your truck is a bit nose down, then loosen one chain link at a time; if you are nose high then tighten one link at a time.
