Question:
Chevrolet 2008 model Duramax/Allison with integrated trailer brake controller. Is this part number HBA 16 necessary? What is the compatibility of the 2008 model Silverado 2500 with integrated brake controller with the Electric-Hydraulic Brakes system?

Helpful Expert Reply:
For your 2008 Chevy Silverado with the integrated GM brake controller you will need to use the adapter part # HBA-CAM in order to use the Hydrastar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator for Disc Brakes # HBA16.
Not all integrated brake controllers are compatible with EOH actuators so that is why the adapter is needed.
