Can 10 Gauge Wire be Used with Hopkins 7-Way Trailer Wiring Connectors

Question:

Will the Hopkins Endurance - HM48480 7-way connector accept 10GA wire? Also the HM48500 trailer connector? Thanks

Yes, you can use 10 gauge wire like the part # 10-1-1 (sold by the foot) to wire up the 7-way part # HM48480 or # HM48500.

Typically people use 10 gauge wire for the 12 volt accessory, brake output, and ground circuit and then use 12 for the remaining circuits.
