The main difference between the Blue Ox Adventurer Tow Bar # BX7322 and the Tow Ready Adjustable Tow Bar # 63180 is that the Tow Ready has a maximum speed rating of 45 mph. The Blue Ox does not have this restriction. Both are car-mount tow bars that fit a 2-inch hitch ball and both are rated for 5000-lbs. Both will mate most easily with base plates from the same maker as the bar and both will install in pretty much the same way.

I recommend choosing a tow bar that gives you some safety margin. If you towed car's actual weight is 5000-lbs then I do NOT recommend using either of these tow bars. A higher-capacity tow bar like the Roadmaster StowMaster # RM-501 (rated for 6K) would be a better choice. This works with Roadmaster EZ, XL and standard series base plates. These base plates are vehicle-specific so please let me know the details about the car you intend to tow.
