Flexible Brake Hose for Trailer with Folding Tongue and Hydraulic Brakes

Question:

I have a boat trailer that I need to install a swing tongue on. My question concerns the brake line. It is a flexible line that I need to extend. It runs from the coupler to a T on the axle. I purchased part t0076500 thinking it would work by installing it between the end of the brake line and the T on the axle. Will this work?

Flexible brake line # T0776500 is designed with 3/8"-24 UNF male and female fittings on the ends so provided that is what your existing line uses then this hose will work for you. Otherwise you would either need a line that matches what you have now or you would need adapter fittings to use hose # T0776500. But this hose is a very common size so it will likely work without the need of adapter fittings.
