Im about to purchase a standard size Honda Ruckus and need a carrier to use on my 2007 Acura MDX, which carrier would you recommend? Thanks

The hitch mounted carrier I recommend for your Honda Ruckus is the Ultra-Fab, part # UF48-979033.

In my research I found the Ruckus weighs about 195 lbs and has a wheelbase right at 50 inches. The rear wheel measures just over 5 inches on the Ruckus. The # UF48-979033 will hold a motorcycle that weighs up to 500 lbs. The track on this carrier is 5 inches wide on the inside and 77 inches long overall. It also features a ramp.

For added security I recommend a hitch receiver lock like part # e98882. This is a stainless steel receiver lock that comes with 2 keys.

I also recommend tie-down straps like the Erickson Motorcycle and ATV Tie-Downs, part # EM05729. This comes with 2 tie-downs straps that measure 1 inch x 6 ft and have a safe working load limit of 400 lbs.
