Will the Thule 963PRO Spare Me 2-Bike Carrier - Spare Tire Mount fit on a 2011 FJ Cruiser? I heard the there was an issue with the Thule 963PRO blocking the rearview cam, but as long as it installs correctly Im okay with that.

If the backup camera is mounted anywhere on the spare tire or spare tire carrier of your 2011 Toyota FJ Cruiser the Thule Spare Me, # TH963PRO, will not fit. Otherwise it is listed as a fit.
If your FJ Cruiser does have a back up camera that is mounted right in the center of the spare then I recommend using Hollywood Racks spare tire mount bike rack # HRSR1 instead. But you will have to remove the plastic cover from the spare tire for it to fit. I have linked video reviews of both racks for you.
If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical mens bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # TH982XT. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have to use these adapters and without them my wifes bike would be at a severe angle and I would not be able to load my sons bike at all.

I have FJ Cruiser with backup cam. Why don't these carriers work? Is it because it blocks the camera (which I wouldn't care about) or is it for another reason? You can call me too at 203-975-2084. I bought the "Malone RunWay 3 bike carrier, but haven't tried it on the vehicle yet. Many thanks!
