Where Does a Brake Controller Plug Into on a 2015 Jeep Cherokee
Published 08/31/2015 >
Question:
Which brake adapter harness will work in a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Latitude with a factory tow package and a Teknosha Primus IQ Brake Controller Model TK90160. My Jeep has a pull out tray where you picture the panel to remove to connect to the factory port. Would the port still be behind this area? Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Expert Reply:
Yes, the factory brake controller port should be in that general area (behind the black cover located to the left of the steering column, just above the carpet) on your 2015 Jeep Cherokee but only if it came with the factory tow package. If it did not then the plug might not be there at all. It is possible that it is tucked up more under the dash or even further to the left considering how your Jeep Cherokee is equipped.
