Question:
I have a 2002 Shorelandr boat trailer that had hydraulic disc brakes. The specs are hub: 1-3/8inch x 1-1/16, bolt pattern 5 on 4.5inch and 3,000lb capacity. I would like to change this to a full electric brake setup and was looking at your part number 23-468 and 23-469 plus the drum assembly AKHD-545-35-EZ-K as the replacements. Will these work?

Expert Reply:
Based on the dimensions you listed you have a number 84 spindle which the hub you referenced part # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K would fit and has the same bolt pattern as what you have as well.
The brake assemblies you referenced # 23-468 and # 23-469 would work well then.
Since this is a boat trailer I would recommend you unplug your trailer wiring when you back the trailer in water.
