Question:
I would like to use the 7” brake assembly on a 3500 lbs axles, do you know what wheel bearing would work to accomplish this?

Expert Reply:
3,500 lb trailer axles have drums that are larger than 7 inches like what the assembly you referenced is designed to fit. For this size axle you'd need to use 10 inch assemblies like the part # 23-469 for the right hand side and part # 23-468 for the left hand side.
For hubs that fit the axle capacity you mentioned and these assemblies you want the # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K which use the bearing numbers # L68149 and # L44649.
