Question:
We have the Curt E16 and the Sidewinder pin box. We can hook up fine but getting unhooked is another story. We cant figure out what we are doing wrong. Any tricks or things we should look for? Weve had the Curt tech people on the phone and ended up taking the head of the hitch off to get it unhooked. Thanks!

You may want to check out the Sidewinder Wedge Kit for Curt E-16K Fifth Wheel Hitch # RP64FR. If you are using a universal wedge, it could be your problem. Curt also offers a wedge for the E16, part # C16991.
I recommend the Reese wedge # RP64FR. This wedge is more of a custom fit than the Curt # C16991 wedge.
