Do Trailer Tire/Wheel Combinations Come Already Balanced

Question:

It is a nice service to have a combo, but I wonder if I will have take to a tire shop to get them balanced? Thanks!

The supplier does not balance the tire/wheel combination like part # AM32161, but when the tire is installed on the wheel they will line the high (heavy) spot on the tire with the low (light) spot on the wheel. This does not fully balance the tire and wheel combination but it does eliminate any excessive out of balance condition.

I recommend having the tire and wheel combination balanced at a local tire shop. That will help the tire wear evenly and also reduce noise and vibration on the trailer.

You always want to make sure you have the maximum tire pressure that is listed on the trailer tire.
