Question:

I am going to be using the Cushioned Ball Mount for 2inch Hitches - 4-3/4inch Rise - 6inch Drop - 10,000 lbs in combination with the Reese Sway-Control Bracket for 2inch Ball Mounts - Class III and IV. I want to purchase the Convert-A-Ball Interchangeable Ball Set - 3 Balls - 1inch Shank - Stainless but do not know if I need one with the 2 1/4 inch long shank or the 2 1/2 inch long shank? I want the stainless steel version and you do not carry that in 2 1/2 inch but only the nickel, can you obtain the stainless if I need the 2 1/2 inch length? Thanks

The thickness of the sway control bracket part # RP26003 that you would need is 3/8 of an inch. The ball mount you are interested in part # AMSC6 calls for a shank that is 2-1/8 inches long.

So the interchangeable ball set you would need would be the # 900b as it comes with a 2-1/2 inch long shank.
