It seems that I need 4 of those Chain links things that tighten and you only supply 2. I have looked at several videos and they show a chain link one each end of each of the short safety cables. Did I not receive them or do you only provide 2? Thanks

The base plate kit part # 161-1 that you referenced does only include 2 of the short safety cables and two of the quick links. The other two you saw most likely came with a set of long safety cables that are sold separately.
To order additional ones you would want part # RM-910022 that is sold individually.
