Question:
What is the difference between a 205 75 14 and a 205 65 14 tire can I place both of them on a trailer together as Mitch match

Expert Reply:
The 75 and 65 you asked about for the tire are the tire sidewall aspect ratio. When calculated, the tire that is 205/75-14 will be 1.614 inches taller than the 205/65-14 tire.
I do not recommend using these tires at the same time on your trailer. It would be a noticeable height difference and trailer tires should be matches in size and type to provide the safest ride possible.
I have attached a helpful article that explains how to measure the diameter of a tire using the tire numbers.
When using tires on a trailer you want to make sure you have them inflated to the full psi pressure when they are cold for the best performance and wear.
