Question:
Does it make any difference which direction the lock handle is positioned in when installing the Inner Tube. I am looking to install it so the lock handle would be toward the trailer.

The Bulldog BX1 Gooseneck Coupler Inner Tube, # BD1289050300, is typically installed with the locking plate facing the driver's side. I have included a picture for you. If you would like to mount the inner tube with the locking plate facing the trailer, you would just have to make sure that the adjustment holes on the tube do not interfere with securing the set bolts.
