Replacement Bevel Gear Set Recommendation for a 2007 Prairie Schooner Trailer

Question:

Can you tell me the landing gear used on 2007 FBR34 prairie schooner. The bevel gears stripped on the follower leg, the large gear has 16 teeth and the small gear has 12 teeth. I could not find any identifying numbers or letters on the gear. The motor and gear box is an Atwood, I called them an was told they havent made a flat top cover unit since 2001. The outer tube is 2-1/2 inch the inner tube is 2-1/4. It also has a flat cap on the tube. Can this gear be replaced with your unit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your landing gear could definitely be replaced by the Stromberg Carlson Electric Landing Gear # LG-1 that you referenced. Based on your description it would be pretty hard to determine what model you have.
