Question:
I would like to purchase a hitch cargo carrier for my 2013 Jeep Sahara. I would like to have spare tire clearance to open rear door and fold up when not in use. Do you have a product to fit these wishes, and if so do you have a video? Thank you for your help!

The key to finding a hitch cargo carrier for your 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is the spare tire clearance. This is determined by the trailer hitch you have and the size of your spare tire. To find the distance needed to clear your spare tire, you will want to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole on your trailer hitch to the back of the spare tire. I have attached a link to a help article for you that will assist in finding this measurement.
I would recommend a hitch cargo carrier such as the Curt Cargo Carrier # C18100. This carrier has a small side wall, measuring only 2-15/16 inches tall. This hitch cargo carrier's style offers a low profile that will allow you access to your rear door when the carrier is free of cargo. When folded, this hitch requires 5 inches from the center of the hitch pin. I have attached a review video for you.
If you want a carrier with more clearance for the spare tire, I would recommend the Surco Cargo Carrier # CC-100. When folded, this hitch cargo carrier requires 9 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole. I have attached a review video for you of this hitch cargo carrier on a 2009 Jeep Wrangler.
If you will send me the spare tire clearance measurement for your Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, I will make a more specific recommendation for you.
