can you give me the dimensions of the mounting part of the sidewinder ST400-5AS16K

I certainly can. I went out to the warehouse and pulled the mounting part, # ST400, and did the measurements myself. The Sidewinder Rotating Turret Premium Pin Box Coupler, # ST400, is made to fit pin boxes: Leland 7910, 7920, and 7921; 5AB-E7920; Demco-GR19LND7920; Trail Air-L08; Mor RPB72-7920.

If looking at the box from the side, it is 13-1/2 inches long at the base, and 9-3/4 inches long at the shortest point (nearer the top).
It is 8-1/8 inches tall at the tallest point.
It is 5-3/8 inches tall at the shortest point (nearer the front).
Horizontal center to center distance between bolt holes is 7 inches. (Takes 1/2 inch bolts).
Vertical center to center distance between bolt holes is 1-1/2 inches.

If looking at it from the front:
From the very bottom up to the pin hole platform is 3-1/4 inches. From the top of the lip on the bottom to the pin hole platform is 3 inches.
The inside distance between the two sides is 13-1/4 inches. The outside distance between the two sides is 13-3/4 inches.

If looking down at the box, the distance from the front of the pin hole platform to the back of the pin hole platform is 11-1/2 inches.
