Mounting Instructions for Optronics # MCL31RB LED Clearance/Marker Lights

Question:
I am thinking about replacing all my clearance lights 12 of them with your LED oval surface mount lights on my motorhome, My question is what is the best way to adhere/seal them to the surface of my motorhome. Do you recommend a certain type of sealant/adhesive? Do they come with their own gasket? Please advise.

Expert Reply:
I'm assuming that you're speaking of the Optronics # MCL31RB side marker/clearance lamps. These lamps are designed to surface mount using machine or self tapping screws as shown in the photo I've provided for you. A gasket isn't available, but using a thin bead of # 0160297 silicone to prevent water from getting behind the lamp would be an excellent idea.
