To install electric brakes on your trailer you will need to have hub and drum assemblies, brake assemblies, and the proper wiring on the trailer. It sounds like the axle already has the brake mounting flange and your vehicle already has a brake controller so you are part way there already!
To select the proper hub and drum assemblies I will need to know the inner and outer bearing numbers stamped into the sides of the bearings. Once I have those numbers I can find the assemblies that fit.
And once I have found the hub and drums I can then select the proper brakes to fit the drum and the 4-bolt mounting flange on your trailer.
And the last thing needed will be a 7-Way connector on the trailer to replace the one that is on the trailer now. You can use # H20042. On this connector white is ground, red is left turn/brake lights, brown is right turn/brake lights, green is running lights, blue is for the electric brakes, black is 12 volt power (if needed), and yellow is for reverse lights or auxiliary power (if needed).
I have also included a link to our help article on adding electric brakes to a trailer for you.
