Recommended LED Clearance Lights For ATV Trailer

Updated 04/15/2015 | Published 04/14/2015

Question:

I am replacing two small side marker lights on a Shorelandr ATV trailer. The existing lights mount in holes in the square tube sides, and there is no way to use a screw and nut. It looks like there are nylon push fasteners holding the light in place - do you have anything like this? I searched your site but could not find anything like that. It looks like the MCL13 series will work great, but I need something to hold them onto the trailer. Thanks for any help.

We do offer clearance lights that may work for you but we do not have any lights that feature a nylon fastener.

I recommend the Optronics Sealed, Mini LED Side Marker, part # MCL13A2B. This light measures 2-1/2 inches long x 1-1/16 inches wide x 11/16 inch deep and has 2 LEDs. This light features recessed holes you could use to mount the lights. You would need to drill holes in the trailer and use sheet metal screws to secure the lights to the trailer. You will want to use caution when installing the lights to make sure you do not torque the screws too much and damage the light. You would want to use a sealer on the screws when installing to help keep it secure and prevent corrosion.
