Using the CE Smith Fender as a Replacement for a Karavan Fender

Question:

Im looking to replace my Plastic Karavan 5x10 utility fender. Karavan part # 206-00049-BL. The fender measures 40L ,11h,10W with inside length of 28. Do you you have a suggestion which fender to use? Your 13inch tire appears to be closer in spec that the 14. The trailer has 215/75 14 inch tires. Please advise

We have an option that is very close to a perfect replacement for your fender. It's the CE Smith Single Axle Trailer Fender w/ Top and Side Steps, part # CE19503. This measures 40-1/8" Long x 10" wide x 10-1/4" tall, making it only 3-4" shorter than your current fender.

This fender may be listed as for a 13" wheel, but the more important thing to look at is the dimensions, which again, are only off by 3/4" in height. The inside length is 27.5", which is one half of an inch off. If your current fender was sitting particularly close to the edge of the wheel, then his may be the thing to pay more attention to. If you had plenty of room between the tire and the fender, though, this half inch will not make much of a difference.
